ETNOROM La musique tzigane des Balkans à l'Andalousie. Etnorom a été fondé en 2005 par Jozsef Balog et Agnes Künstler, les fameux solistes du groupe Kalyi Jag. Depuis, ils ont fait des tournées dans le monde entier du Japon aux USA. Leur musique a été consacrée comme la première musique authentique rom de l'Europe de l'Est. L’Andalousie, les Pays Arabes, aux Balkans, la Roumanie, la Russie, et bien sûr, la Hongrie …Une vision totale du règne gitan. Le peuple tzigane célèbre là, l’étendue de ses racines en emportant le cœur de l’audience. SAINTES MARIES DE LA MER en 1988, un tour de 10 concerts en France en 1991, le théâtre BOUFFES DU NORD pour 10 concerts en 1992, le DIVAN DU MONDE pour 9 représentations en 2001-2002, le Brésil, l’Inde, les Etats-Unis, le Japon et l’Europe… KALYI JAG jouait depuis 20 ans, conquît le monde et revient là, avec un goût novateur, inscrit dans l’ère primitif tsigane. 2008 leur promet le même succès. Fin mars, le Festival FRINGE de Budapest leur offre champ libre. En avril, Vienne se les approprie déjà. L’Amérique risque bien de s’en emparer comme ils l’ont déjà fait pour KALYI JAG. En mars 2007, le groupe gagna le prix de la meilleure représentation du festival Fringe de Budapest parmi 400 représentations. Par la suite, il fut invité au festival de Printemps de Budapest en 2008. Their intention was reaching the top of the genre, but by now they performed more. Beyond the mediation of the authentic gipsy music, alloying that with the treasures of another kind of gipsy music and original elements, they developed their own style, the gipsy world music, wich is a speciality in its category. All these - in the virtuoso interpretation of the members of EtnoRom - progressed a unique repertoire, included the traditional hungarian gipsy music, and more: hits, spiced with Balkan, Russian, Spanish, Turkish and Arabic motives. Three years ago a CD was made from their musical material (Rományi Luma; 2006), and by now they assembled a more original and fresher collection than ever. EtnoRom invocated to the stage the magic of their music-universe many times, at many places: apart from the fact that they toured all around Hungary, they visited to many European countries - Italy, Austria, Poland, Finland, Estonia, Ukraine, Slovakia and Spain with their show. Seven years ago, two emblematic characters of the Hungarian gipsy music, members of the world-famous group, Kaly Jag, Ágnes Künstler and József Balog, fusing the best gipsy and balkan musicians of the country, established their own formation, called EtnoRom.

Their intention was reaching the top of the genre, but by now they performed more. Beyond the mediation of the authentic gipsy music, alloying that with the treasures of another kind of gipsy music and original elements, they developed their own style, the gipsy world music, wich is a speciality in its category. All these - in the virtuoso interpretation of the members of EtnoRom - progressed a unique repertoire, included the traditional hungarian gipsy music, and more: hits, spiced with Balkan, Russian, Spanish, Turkish and Arabic motives.
